Last Monday our class set off on a field trip to Bolzano. First, Ms Unterkircher took us un a guided tour to see the dome and the churches. Then we explored the “Fab Lab,” also called “Makers’ Space.”
Have you ever heard of it? In case you haven’t, you should know that it is a centre where you can be as creative as you can! Plenty of machines and materials are provided. You can use them to test and perfectionate your individual projects.
We printed our own T-shirts and bags there. Then we went on our very own flashmob: we took to the streets of Bolzano wearing a long line of T-shirts which had all been sewn together! Shouting out loud and flashing our posters and leaflets we tried to draw attention to the problem of fast fashion. It was a weird feeling at first, but singing and cheering together made us feel strong!
